Watching this movie was a painful experience. I came home and had to take some pills for my headache which I got from watching this poor excuse for what is supposed to be a good movie. It was
over two and a half hours long and I would have had a better time, and a less painful one, waxing my bikini line.
The script was good and had major potential. The directing, producing, camera
work, and everything else were some of the worst I have seen this year. I suppose they were trying for an 'artsy' thing with the home video style filming which was shaky at best and was worse than that
seen in The Blair Witch Project. The sepia tones for the footage in Mexico was horrific and I don't understand at all the blue and yellow tones in the footage shot in the states. The colors and the
camera movement hurt my head.
Michael Douglas was his typical self, neither great nor bad. Catherine Zeta-Jones has no right being called an actress. Anyone who says this is a good movie must be
acting like a sheep as they have been told it is good, therefore think it must be, or they have been paid big bucks to say they like it.
Save your time and your money and don't even bother with the video.
