Anniversary Party

Written, directed and starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alan Cumming, this comedic drama runs a little long in places, but has enough laughs and depth to make up for it.

A 'typical' Hollywood couple throw a party to celebrate their 6th anniversary, (after having split up and reunited half a year earlier). They invite their best friends who are all in the movie biz in some way, shape or form, and they also invite their neighbors who they can't stand, yet legal counsel has advised them to do so, in hopes of warding off a possible law suit regarding their much loved pooch.

The party is full of drama, laughs, tributes, revelations and of course, drugs. Everyone has a story with some being complex and others much more simple. The games people play and the love, dislikes and basic chemical imbalances they have make this a very entertaining story to watch unravel.

A great cast including Jane Adams, Jennifer Beals, Phoebe Cates, Kevin Kline, Gwyneth Paltrow, Parker Posey, and John C. Reilly.
